Recruitment Coordinator

About the role

LMI Technologies seeks a proactive Recruitment Coordinator to join its global HR team in Burnaby. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will own the end‑to‑end talent acquisition process for a variety of roles, champion the Co‑op Ambassador program, and act as a steward of the company’s employment brand across online channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment life cycle for operational hourly positions, co‑op placements, and select salaried roles.
• Identify and implement improvements to recruitment operations, focusing on automation, efficiency, and administrative excellence.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to exceed recruitment needs and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Drive and manage the Co‑op Ambassador program, including interviews, grant administration, and promotion at university events.
• Maintain and enhance LMI’s careers site, social media presence (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed), and workplace certifications.
• Post new job listings, oversee external sponsorships, and coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
• Continuously research best practices for employer branding and talent sourcing.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of recruitment‑related administrative experience.
• Experience recruiting for hourly or operational roles, preferably in manufacturing or operations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
