PTC Windchill Technical Architect

About the role

As a PTC Windchill Technical Architect within Accenture's Industry X team, you will help clients modernise their product development and manufacturing value chains. You will work across multiple sectors, delivering technical expertise on complex PLM projects and supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and domain expertise on Windchill‑based projects.
• Participate in requirements gathering, specifications, and technical design.
• Configure Windchill applications according to functional and technical designs.
• Diagnose and resolve defects, prepare and execute implementation plans.
• Document configuration, architecture, and produce solution enhancements.
• Conduct unit, functional and integration testing, including test case creation.
• Write or modify process extensions and custom code.
• Report progress and issues to project management.
• Coach work‑stream teams and support management across project workstreams.
• Travel up to 50% of the time to client sites.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with PTC Windchill or other PTC PLM products.
• Strong background in software configuration, deployment and testing.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Willingness to travel regularly for on‑site engagements.
