Project Site Coordinator – Construction & Energy Projects

About the role

The Project Site Coordinator supports delivery of medium‑ to large‑scale institutional decarbonisation and energy retrofit projects. Working on‑site in St Catharines, the role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule and within budget while gaining hands‑on experience in construction, energy and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Support on‑site construction management for medium‑ to large‑scale institutional decarbonisation and energy retrofit projects (CAD $5M–$35M).
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and client representatives under direction of the Project and Construction Managers.
• Assist with procurement activities, tendering, document control and contract administration.
• Track project schedules, budgets and progress, escalating issues as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance throughout construction.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and support internal PMO processes.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Systems, Controls, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of co‑op, internship or entry‑level experience in construction, building systems, energy or infrastructure projects.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for daily commute to St Catharines site.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Procore construction management software.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
