Project Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support our construction projects in Mississauga. The role involves assisting project managers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring documentation, schedules, and budgets are accurately maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Support project management teams with tasks across the project lifecycle, including tracking paperwork and uploading documents to Procore.
• Monitor project progress and budgets to ensure milestones are met and assist in creating and maintaining schedules.
• Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders, coordinate vendor communications, and verify quotes and lead times.
• Review subcontractor quotes, manage material orders, and assist with permitting processes.
• Participate in site visits, planning and project meetings, capturing updates and taking notes.
• Maintain project documents in Procore, manage change orders, and track deficiencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of project coordination experience in the construction industry.
• Post‑secondary education in Project Management, Construction Management or related field; PMP certification is an asset.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and project documents.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Procore project management software.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Google Suite.
