Press Brake Operator – Hydraulic CNC (Afternoon Shift)

About the role

Join Brannon Steel’s Brampton manufacturing plant as a Press Brake Operator on the afternoon shift (3 pm‑11 pm). You will operate hydraulic CNC press brakes to form large steel components for heavy‑equipment manufacturers while maintaining a strong safety focus.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot hydraulic CNC press brakes.
• Form large steel parts according to engineering drawings.
• Perform material handling using an overhead crane or other equipment, including loading and unloading.
• Organize tools and materials to minimise downtime.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and assist teammates when needed.

Required profile

• Strong experience operating heavy hydraulic press brakes or completion of a metal‑fabrication program.
• Proven overhead crane operation skills.
• Ability to read part drawings, including GD&T.
• Understanding of steel grades and characteristics.
• Capability to manually handle up to 36 kg (80 lb).
• Intermediate math proficiency.
• Conversational English reading, writing and speaking.
• Availability for the afternoon shift, Monday‑Friday.
