About the role
The Plant Supervisor will oversee construction site activities, ensuring that work complies with plans, specifications, technical requirements, and applicable standards. This role acts as the primary on‑site liaison between ATIS Énergie, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, supporting project delivery in a dynamic industrial environment.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor site work to guarantee compliance with drawings, specifications, schedules, methods and quality standards.
- Serve as the on‑site point of contact for ATIS Énergie, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
- Participate in site meetings, document follow‑ups and produce daily progress reports with photos and observations.
- Conduct inspections, identify non‑conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Collaborate with design and project management teams to resolve technical issues encountered in the field.
- Enforce health and safety rules on the job site and support equipment commissioning and final inspections.
- Contribute to as‑built surveys and administrative project close‑out activities.
Required profile
- College diploma (DEC) in mechanical engineering, building engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience supervising construction sites, preferably in industrial or mechanical/energy projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical plans and specifications.
- Rigour, attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Autonomy, sound judgment and decision‑making capability in the field.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently and stay at client sites; flexible schedule including occasional outside‑regular‑hours work.
- Valid driver’s licence and health‑and‑safety training for construction sites (ASP Construction).
- Comfortable working in a French‑speaking environment with a good understanding of English.
