Part-Time Student Activity Coordinator

About the role

Bayswater is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and outgoing Student Activity Coordinator to plan, organize, and lead activities and excursions for adult international students in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. The role involves creating engaging experiences, ensuring safety, and fostering a welcoming social environment for students aged 16 and above.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organize a regular schedule of student activities and excursions.
• Lead and participate in activities, ensuring a positive experience for students.
• Accompany groups on local excursions throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, using public transit safely.
• Research and recommend new attractions, events, and experiences suitable for international students.
• Coordinate logistics such as meeting points, transportation, tickets, and registrations.
• Maintain accurate attendance and activity records and adapt schedules when needed.

Required profile

• Availability Monday–Thursday 3:00–5:30 PM and Friday 12:30–5:00 PM.
• Strong knowledge of Vancouver and the Lower Mainland’s attractions, neighbourhoods, and public transportation.
• Comfortable leading large groups of students on public transit.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with an energetic, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and ensure student safety and wellbeing.
