Nurse 2 (N2) – Pre‑Admission Clinic

About the role

The Registered Nurse (N2) in the Pre‑Admission Clinic provides professional nursing services for patients with complex health needs, including independent nursing, medication administration, and coordination of care and discharge.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients with unpredictable health needs under the supervision of the Manager, Health Services.
• Administer prescribed medical treatments and lead within the healthcare team.
• Facilitate coordination of patient care, including discharge planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of current surgical experience.
• Previous outpatient setting experience.
• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program and active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba.
• CPR certification and ability to maintain proof of registration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, Windows, word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
• CPR training as per employer policy.
• CNA certification (or equivalent) for the program area.

What we offer

• Pensionable salary enhancement of up to $5.95 per hour for eligible full‑time nurses.
• Competitive salary range from $42,985 to $52,732 CAD per year.
