Medical Affairs Specialist

About the role

WEP Clinical is seeking a Medical Affairs Specialist to join its dynamic team. You will work closely with the Medical Affairs department and operational teams to ensure scientific rigor and ethical standards across clinical projects, including trials and early access programs.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary medical contact for investigators, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders, clarifying study protocols.
• Oversee clinical trials and Expanded Access Programs, ensuring participant safety, data accuracy, and protocol adherence.
• Support site selection by evaluating investigator qualifications and feasibility.
• Lead investigator calls, site initiation visits, and training sessions to optimize recruitment and protocol compliance.
• Provide continuous medical training to investigators, site personnel, and internal teams.
• Review adverse events, perform causality assessments, and ensure timely safety reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Safety Monitoring Boards and safety committees to monitor trial safety.

Required profile

• Analytical and detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Adaptable and able to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience in clinical research, medical monitoring, or pharmacovigilance is preferred.
