Mechanical Engineer – Manufacturing & Process

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing and processing team in the oil & gas sector. The role is onsite and involves research, design, and optimisation of mechanisms, components and production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility research and design of mechanisms, components and systems.
• Develop risk management plans for projects.
• Design, develop and specify moulding, forming and thermal‑treatment processes for metals, alloys, ceramics and other materials.
• Monitor and verify product quality throughout production.
• Coordinate projects and support operations or production activities.

Required profile

• Trades certificate, diploma or equivalent experience.
• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to relocate (relocation costs not covered).
• Basic security clearance and criminal record check.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transportation.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• AutoCAD certification.
• Mastercam CAD/CAM proficiency.
• Experience with ERP software.
• Knowledge of NC and CNC systems.
• Familiarity with industrial processes, product development and equipment controls.
