Material Handler – Warehouse & Production Support

About the role

Marketing Impact is seeking a safety‑focused Material Handler to keep materials moving efficiently throughout its manufacturing facility. You will work on a 7:30 am – 4:30 pm shift, supporting shipping, receiving, and production teams while developing forklift and warehouse skills.

Key responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material‑handling equipment.
• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and inspect shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Prepare, stage, label, and coordinate outbound shipments.
• Transport raw materials, work‑in‑progress, and finished products to support production.
• Stage materials and replenish inventory to keep production running smoothly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Keep warehouse, shipping, receiving, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Support various departments (Assembly, Fabrication, Merchandising, etc.) as operational needs arise.

Required profile

• Several years of safe forklift operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and dependability.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform active work.
• Eagerness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (certified or able to obtain certification).
• Basic computer proficiency, preferably with inventory management software.
• Use of hand tools and power tools for basic fabrication tasks.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
