Manager, Development Analytics & Capital

About the role

We are looking for a Manager, Development Analytics & Capital to join our Toronto office. In this hands‑on role you will partner with Choice Properties and Wittington Investments Limited to drive data‑driven decisions across the full development lifecycle, from acquisition through construction and asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite and maintain dynamic, multi‑phase development pro‑forma and cash‑flow models.
• Critically evaluate model assumptions and conduct market research to support investment decisions.
• Prepare financial analyses, development scenarios and sensitivity analyses for senior leadership.
• Monitor market conditions, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks to maximize returns.
• Track project performance, including financials, schedules and construction progress.
• Perform budget‑to‑actual variance analysis and ensure accurate cost forecasting.
• Support the preparation of business plan presentations and ad‑hoc reporting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate project data into monthly and quarterly reports for ownership groups.

Required profile

• 5+ years of real‑estate investment or development experience within a development firm or financial institution.
• Post‑secondary education in real estate, finance, economics or a related field.
• Deep understanding of the full development lifecycle and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with partners and stakeholders.
