About the role
The Faculty of Management at the University of British Columbia Okanagan campus seeks a full‑time Lecturer in Marketing for a one‑year term. The appointment begins on July 1, 2026 (or an agreed date) and involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver five courses (or equivalents) over a 12‑month period, including Market Research, Social Media Strategy, and Digital Marketing.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic administration within the Faculty of Management.
- Engage in collegial service, departmental events, and external outreach.
Required profile
- Near‑completion or completion of a PhD in Marketing from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited business school.
- Demonstrated teaching excellence in marketing at the undergraduate or graduate level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Willingness to contribute to professional, undergraduate, graduate, and post‑doctoral education.
