Lecturer in Dietetics (Food, Nutrition & Health)

About the role

The Faculty of Land and Food Systems seeks a full‑time Lecturer to join the Dietetics Program within the Food, Nutrition and Health Program. The role begins on September 1, 2026 and supports curriculum delivery and student learning in a professional dietetics program accredited across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, delivering a normal load of 18 credits per year.
• Develop a new 3‑credit undergraduate course within the first three months.
• Provide service duties as assigned by the Director of Dietetics.
• Contribute to a student‑centered environment that promotes high achievement and inclusivity.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Human Nutrition or a related field.
• Registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia, or eligibility for registration.
• Experience teaching at the post‑secondary level in both in‑person and online formats.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching practice.

Required skills

• Familiarity with dietetics education and clinical nutrition.
• Ability to conduct and integrate research into teaching.
