Junior Art Director

About the role

Mekanism is looking for a motivated Junior Art Director to join its creative team. You will collaborate closely with copywriters and cross‑functional teams to develop multi‑channel campaigns that resonate with audiences and drive brand impact.

Key responsibilities

• Generate strong concepts and champion ideas with enthusiasm.
• Partner with copywriters to develop creative concepts that meet project objectives.
• Work closely with Creative Directors, Account Services, Strategy and Delivery teams from briefing through production.
• Contribute to raising overall creative standards through effective, award‑winning work.
• Stay up‑to‑date with innovations, technologies, cultural and social trends to ensure relevant ideas.
• Ensure messaging aligns with client goals and that art direction is tasteful, detailed, and beautifully crafted.
• Prepare and refine concepts for internal and client presentations.
• Support other teams on their creative briefs and actively participate in brainstorming sessions.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience in an agency environment.
• Strong conceptual thinker with a passion for popular culture, emerging technologies and design trends.
• Excellent listener, able to handle constructive criticism and adapt to changing priorities.
• Undergraduate diploma or degree in design, marketing or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
