Jewelry Production Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Jewelry Production Assistant to join our Spence Studio in Vancouver. The role focuses on lost‑wax casting and grinding of precious metal jewelry, offering a long‑term career in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Cast 10k, 14k, 18k, 19k, and platinum jewelry using the lost‑wax casting method.
• Clean investment from cast‑out pieces and pre‑polish components.
• Manage raw metal inventory levels.
• Grind cast‑out jewelry components with a disk‑grinding method.
• Inspect job orders before and after processing to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report safety issues.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Studio Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience polishing, grinding, or shaping jewelry or small objects (preferred but not required).
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and efficient with time.
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities and work well in a team.
