About the role
Lion's Gate Building Maintenance Ltd is seeking a reliable janitor to keep our facilities clean, safe and welcoming. You will work primarily onsite, handling routine cleaning tasks and occasional outdoor maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs.
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance.
- Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 2 to less than 3 years of cleaning experience.
- Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg, bend, crouch and work in cold conditions.
