IT Field Service Technician – On‑Call (Hourly)

About the role

Kelly is seeking an IT Field Service Technician to provide on‑call, sporadic support for a client’s hardware, networking, and troubleshooting needs. The role involves traveling to client sites, performing installations, repairs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and POS systems.
• Perform hardware installations and network troubleshooting on‑site.
• Execute install, move, add, change (IMAC) projects.
• Maintain accurate service stock levels and adhere to Service Level Agreements.
• Provide professional communication with customers and advise on preventive maintenance.
• Travel to client locations, including overnight stays when required.

Required profile

• 1+ years of hardware, networking, and troubleshooting experience (in‑field experience preferred).
• Minimum 6 months of proven customer service experience.
• Problem‑solver with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A+ certification or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Own car, cell phone, laptop, console cable, and basic tool kit.
• Willingness to travel and work sporadic, on‑call tickets.
