About the role
Amnor powder coating is seeking an experienced ironworker to join our Edmonton team. The role involves erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework, and other platforms, as well as welding, bolting, and assembling metal components on construction sites.
Key responsibilities
- Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
- Align, weld or bolt steel units in place and assemble pre‑fabricated parts.
- Dismantle metal, pre‑cast concrete or laminated timber structures.
- Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms.
- Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
- Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs and adjustments to equipment.
- Fit and assemble components using hand and power tools.
- Follow emergency and safety procedures and meet tight deadlines.
Required profile
- First Aid, WHMIS and Fall Arrest Protection certifications.
- Dependable, organized, reliable team player with attention to detail.
