Investment Risk Modelling Co-op – Fall 2026

About the role

Join the Investment Strategy & Risk team at BCI for a Fall 2026 co‑op term. You will support the Investment Risk Modelling and Public Markets Risk Management group, helping monitor market and counter‑party risks for a diversified $295 billion portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor day‑to‑day market and counter‑party risk operations.
• Prepare risk‑management reports, analyses and measurement tools.
• Develop and enhance risk‑reporting templates, using AI‑driven data visualisation and interactive dashboards.
• Document new processes and keep risk manuals up to date.
• Execute ad‑hoc projects with Python and Power BI, automating repetitive tasks and streamlining reporting.

Required profile

• University degree (or in‑progress) with coursework in financial risk management or investment management.
• Familiarity with Python, Bloomberg, SQL and VBA.
• Working knowledge of AI tools such as Claude or Copilot and ability to apply them to data analysis and automation.
• Basic understanding of business and investment concepts.
