Intermediate/Senior Buyer

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Buyer to join their Supply Management team. The role oversees the full procurement lifecycle, ensuring goods and services are sourced, ordered, and delivered efficiently, ethically, and in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness, and competitive pricing.
• Convert approved requisitions into purchase orders and monitor timely delivery.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations, manage RFQ and RFP processes.
• Coordinate contractor and consultant onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Support procurement activities across multiple business groups and projects.
• Manage domestic and international shipments, including documentation and liaison with customs brokers, freight providers, and third‑party logistics partners.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Assist with invoice, payment, and procurement inquiries in collaboration with finance.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or sourcing.
• Strong understanding of purchasing processes, vendor management and contract administration.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
