Game Day Staff – Sports Event Support

About the role

MacEwan University Griffins Athletics is looking for enthusiastic students to join the Game Day Staff team. You will help create a smooth and exciting experience for fans at soccer, hockey, volleyball, and basketball games from September to March.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and tear down statistical equipment before and after each game.
• Enter player information into stats software and record live game data.
• Verify that all statistics meet the quality standards of the Griffins and Canada West.
• Troubleshoot any technical issues with equipment or software during events.
• Assist with general event operations, including venue preparation and fan engagement activities.

Required profile

• Outgoing, team‑oriented student with a passion for sports.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends throughout the season.
• Basic knowledge of soccer, hockey, volleyball, and basketball.
• Interest in behind‑the‑scenes aspects of sporting events.

Required skills

What we offer

• Hourly wage ranging from $16.85 to $24.52 (CAD).
• Casual part‑time contract (less than 35 hours per week).
• Training on stats equipment and software.
