Full Stack .NET Developer – Data Integrations

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack .NET Developer to join Descartes’ Data Integrations team. The role combines software engineering, data engineering, and internal tool development to support high‑volume data ingestion, validation, transformation and management for our logistics customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers and functions in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
• Build full‑stack applications using .NET (C#), Entity Framework, LINQ and ADO.NET.
• Design and maintain systems for high‑volume transactional processing.
• Implement solutions with Git, Windows Worker Service, dependency injection, unit testing and Azure services.
• Collaborate with data analysts to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Create REST APIs and scalable SaaS components.
• Design and maintain internal tools and utilities, automating processes to improve efficiency and data quality.
• Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures and data models to ensure integrity, scalability and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5+ years of professional experience developing .NET applications.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience working with B2B data and regulatory/trade data pipelines.
