About the role
We are looking for a motivated foreperson to lead our framing crew on various construction sites in Calgary. The role involves supervising a small team, ensuring safety compliance, and driving productivity on daily schedules.
Key responsibilities
- Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
- Supervise 3‑4 workers and oversee framing projects from start to finish.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed on site.
- Establish methods and schedules to meet project timelines.
- Requisition materials and supplies needed for framing operations.
- Coordinate with other trades and client representatives as required.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in construction framing or related field.
- Accurate, dependable, and organized with strong initiative.
- Flexible team player with a client‑focused mindset.
- Ability to work early mornings, day shifts, and overtime when needed.
- Commitment to on‑the‑job training, especially for youth.
