Fit Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Fit Technician to develop high‑quality garments that embody Moose Knuckles’ aesthetic and standards. The role bridges design intent and production, ensuring each piece fits perfectly and meets brand expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Create initial specifications from design sketches, samples or block patterns.
• Review technical design sketches for feasibility and pattern accuracy.
• Measure and evaluate samples at each stage and lead fit sessions with live models or mannequins.
• Identify fit issues, provide feedback to designers, and communicate corrections to factories using patterns, Illustrator or Excel.
• Maintain up‑to‑date grading, patterns and spec files.
• Ensure garment quality and meet project deadlines across overlapping seasons.
• Collaborate with design, technical and production teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years experience as a fit technician in apparel.
• Strong ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Hands‑on, energetic, results‑driven team player with excellent attention to detail.
• Problem‑solving mindset that respects brand DNA.
• Mentor attitude, able to guide technical design and junior team members.

Required skills

• Pattern making (hand or software)
• Garment construction and fit grading
• Knowledge of fabrics, wovens and knits
• Advanced Excel
• Adobe Illustrator
