Financial Controller

About the role

Join Soucy’s accounting and finance team as a Financial Controller, where you will lead month‑end close activities, support the annual audit, and contribute to strategic financial analysis in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting transactions and supervise the financial accounting team.
• Manage the month‑end process and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Analyze profitability of investment projects and conduct cost analyses.
• Prepare grant applications and compile the annual audit file.
• Act as the primary contact for external auditors during their annual visit.
• Implement performance monitoring tools and support ERP (SAP) implementation projects.
• Assist the Financial Director with special projects and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA designation.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience working in an accounting firm is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards.
• Bilingual communication skills in French and English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems.
