Fashion Designer – Full‑time in Montreal

About the role

We are seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team in Montreal. You will translate trend research into seasonal collections and collaborate across the product development cycle, working closely with suppliers, factories and internal teams to bring designs from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Research fashion, lifestyle and international trends to inspire new design concepts.
• Develop seasonal concepts, mood boards, fabric stories and colour palettes.
• Create original sketches, CAD renderings and complete technical packages.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams from concept through production.
• Participate in fittings and reviews, providing creative and technical feedback.
• Communicate with overseas factories and suppliers regarding design details.
• Build direct relationships with suppliers and buyers.
• Support internal and external collection presentations.
• Manage design libraries, trims, samples and inspiration boards.
• Ensure designs align with cost targets and quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on design experience.
• Highly organized, proactive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
