About the role
We are looking for an Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations in Calgary. The role involves supervising chefs, cooks and other kitchen staff, creating new recipes, and ensuring high‑quality food for both daily service and special events such as banquets and weddings.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise specialist chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers.
- Create and develop new recipes and menu items.
- Instruct staff on preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation.
- Plan and direct food preparation for multiple restaurant outlets and special functions.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies and ensure quality standards are met.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation (high school diploma) required.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen leadership role.
- Demonstrated leadership, dependability, flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
