Early Childhood Educator (Level 2/3) – Downtown Edmonton

About the role

Kepler Academy is seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator to join its downtown Edmonton centre. You will lead children in activities that promote intellectual, physical, and emotional growth while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement age‑appropriate programmes that support cognitive, social and physical development.
• Lead storytelling, music, art, dramatic play and outdoor excursions.
• Maintain a clean, secure environment that meets health and safety standards.
• Observe children, assess needs and communicate progress to parents and staff.
• Prepare reports on learning milestones and any behavioural concerns.

Required profile

• Early Childhood Education certification (Level 2 or 3).
• Passion for child‑led, exploratory learning approaches.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills with families and colleagues.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Exploratory Education™ and STEM‑based early learning.
• Experience planning and delivering creative activities for infants to school‑age children.
