About the role
The Eakin Student Research Internship supports an Eakin Fellow at the McGill Institute for the Study of Canada. The intern will work 5 hours per week for a total of 60 hours, conducting research related to Canadian studies under the Fellow’s supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Eakin Fellow with research tasks tied to their ongoing Canadian‑studies projects.
- Perform data gathering and analysis as directed by the Fellow.
Required profile
- Enrolled in a Canadian Studies program (major, minor, honours or joint honours) and entering the 3rd or 4th year of study.
- Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work on the McGill campus in Quebec.
- Proficiency in English communication, both spoken and written.
- Experience with data analysis or data collection is an asset.

- Hourly wage of $19.02 CAD.
