Director & Assistant Market Leader, Private Wealth

About the role

The Director & Assistant Market Leader, Private Wealth will drive growth, profitability and client loyalty for an assigned branch or market. Reporting to senior leadership, you will supervise a team of investment associates, shape market strategy and ensure a client‑first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Build and leverage internal and external referral networks to generate new business and meet AUM targets.
• Support annual business planning, goal‑setting and performance monitoring.
• Provide strategic analysis, market insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
• Allocate resources, prioritize initiatives and act as a trusted advisor on complex decisions.
• Champion a client‑first experience by improving sales processes, resolving escalated issues and ensuring operational excellence.
• Lead talent acquisition, coaching, training and development for sales and service teams.
• Identify capability gaps and design targeted training tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising and developing investment or wealth‑management teams.
• Strong business acumen with a track record of achieving growth and profitability targets.
• Excellent strategic judgment and ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal partners and external referral sources.
