DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineer

About the role

Capgemini is looking for an experienced DevOps, Site Reliability or Platform Engineer to design, build and operate modern cloud‑native solutions for our clients. You will work in a collaborative environment, helping to automate delivery pipelines, ensure reliability and drive continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment.
• Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or ARM templates.
• Containerise applications and manage orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, availability and security with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Datadog.
• Collaborate with development, QA and security teams to improve SDLC efficiency.
• Automate operational tasks using Bash, Python or PowerShell scripts.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability and disaster‑recovery readiness.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Enforce DevSecOps and compliance best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering.
• Strong background with Linux/Unix systems.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency on cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP acceptable).
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Good understanding of networking, security and system architecture.
