DevOps Engineer – Mississauga, Ontario

About the role

Infosys is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design, build and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for its Canadian operations. The role will be based in Mississauga, Ontario and will support reliable, secure application delivery across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS and Lambda.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or CloudFormation (IaC).
• Containerize applications and orchestrate with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
• Write scripts in Python or Bash to streamline build, release and operational workflows.
• Monitor system performance, availability and cost using CloudWatch, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Ensure cloud security, compliance and access controls (IAM, KMS).
• Troubleshoot production incidents and drive root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development, QA and operations teams for seamless releases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
• Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
• Located within commuting distance of Mississauga or willing to relocate.
• Ability to work on‑site for extended periods and communicate effectively.
