DevOps Engineer – Mississauga

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Technology Lead to design, build, and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role supports reliable and efficient application delivery for clients across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and Lambda.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CodePipeline.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automate build, release, and operational workflows and monitor system performance, availability, and cost.
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, and access controls (IAM, KMS).
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams for seamless releases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or three years of progressive experience per year of education.
• At least 7 years of IT experience, including 5+ years in DevOps/Cloud engineering.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer‑based visa sponsorship.
• Located within commuting distance of Mississauga or willing to relocate; occasional travel may be required.
• Ability to work extended periods at a computer and communicate effectively.

Required skills

• Strong AWS expertise (core services and architecture).
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline.
• IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
• Scripting: Python, Bash.
• Monitoring: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Good understanding of networking, security, Linux, IAM, KMS.
