About the role

Working as a Dairy & Frozen Associate at Walmart Canada offers the chance to develop valuable retail skills in a fast‑paced environment. You will deliver excellent customer service, keep the department clean and organized, and support stocking and sales activities to ensure fresh products are always available.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly zoned Dairy/Frozen department so it is always customer‑ready.
• Rotate merchandise regularly and remove expired items to ensure product freshness and quality.
• Accurately sign, price, and label merchandise, following procedures for ordering, clearance, mark‑ups and markdowns.
• Follow cold‑chain and food‑safety standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration and proper handling of products.
• Maintain department features and promotional displays to meet merchandising standards.
• Keep the work area neat, hazard‑free and comply with health‑and‑safety policies.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to support store operations.

Required profile

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift inventory up to 20 lb (occasionally up to 50 lb).
• Willingness to work varied schedules, including overnight, evenings, weekends and holidays.
