Countertop Templater Technician (Full‑Time)

About the role

FLOFORM Countertops is looking for a full‑time Countertop Templater Technician to join its Winnipeg branch. You will create digital templates and program CNC routers to produce custom countertops, often working directly at customers’ homes.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to take precise measurements and create templates.
• Prepare and submit work orders with all required dimensions, cut‑outs, and specifications.
• Program CNC routers and generate CAD/CAM files for shop fabrication.
• Communicate any required modifications to customers and relay information to sales, operations, and production teams.
• Maintain the company vehicle and ensure templates are delivered within 24‑48 hours.
• Perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 lb, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education related to drafting, design, or construction.
• 1‑2 years of experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and CAM software.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in templating, fabrication, installation, or drafting.
• Strong customer‑service skills and professional appearance.
• Valid driver’s licence and clear criminal record check.
