Corporate Finance & Strategy – Cash Flow Forecasting Lead

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a senior finance professional to own and scale its balance sheet and cash‑flow forecasting function. You will build a rigorous, driver‑based model that provides leadership with a reliable view of free cash flow, liquidity, and capital needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the balance‑sheet and cash‑flow forecast architecture, selecting tools and defining methodology.
• Model cash‑impacting items such as working capital, capex, leases, debt, interest, equity, stock‑based compensation, and cash taxes.
• Partner with Finance & Strategy, Accounting, and Treasury to align inputs, ensure reconciliation with reported financials, and integrate cash‑flow views.
• Deliver free‑cash‑flow reporting, driver‑based cash bridges, and scenario analyses to inform capital and investment decisions.
• Integrate the forecast into the reporting calendar, automate actuals loads, tie‑outs, and continuously raise process rigor.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and building integrated three‑statement forecasts.
• Strong collaboration with Accounting and Treasury to align forecasts with close and cash processes.
• Highly proficient in Excel or Google Sheets and modern FP&A tools.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
• Comfortable thriving in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
