Construction Coordinator

About the role

The Construction Coordinator will act as the bridge between external designers, internal merchandising and operations teams, and on‑site contractors to ensure store fixtures are designed, documented, and installed efficiently. This role involves traveling to store locations, managing drawing databases, and handling financial transactions related to store development until a dedicated Construction Admin is hired.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with external designers and internal teams to create and update fixture layout plans.
• Review drawing packages, provide feedback to the Head of Store Development, and follow up with designers to finalize drawings.
• Maintain the store drawing database and documentation archive.
• Travel to store sites to supervise and guide contractors during fixture installation.
• Respond to maintenance requests from operating stores and coordinate timely resolutions with contractors.
• Support store image upgrades and renovation projects by liaising with designers and contractors.
• Operate the internal financial system and submit payments for development, maintenance, and image upgrade projects within the assigned region.

Required profile

• Excellent communication, time‑management, and multi‑project management abilities.
• Strong curiosity, initiative, and self‑motivation.
• Educational background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or at least two years of relevant industry experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• AutoCAD proficiency is an asset.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency is an asset.
