Community Outreach & Operations Coordinator (Bilingual)

About the role

Digital Moment is seeking a dynamic, organized, and people‑oriented professional to coordinate its summer Code Club outreach and operations. Reporting to the Community and Partnerships Manager, you will drive partnership building, volunteer recruitment, and event delivery in a fast‑paced, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and connect with local community partners, organizations, and venues to increase program visibility.
• Support the volunteer recruitment cycle, including screening applicants and conducting orientation sessions.
• Assist in planning and executing in‑person gatherings and online webinars or workshops.
• Maintain and update the CRM/database to track outreach efforts, volunteer hours, and community growth.
• Provide administrative support such as scheduling, newsletters, and general communications.

Required profile

• Passion for technology, community, and education with a willingness to learn.
• Experience facilitating or leading activities with youth and/or adults.
• Reliable home workspace with dependable internet connectivity.
• Fluent bilingualism in French and English.
• Willingness to complete safeguarding training and pass a clear background check.

Required skills

• Proficiency with online platforms (Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack).
• Experience using databases or CRM software; familiarity with Micro:Bits is a plus.

• 8‑week contract (30‑35 hours per week) at $22 CAD per hour.
