Communications Advisor

About the role

The Communications Advisor supports Desjardins Group by promoting projects and programs through the design, development, and distribution of internal and external communications. The role also manages the organization’s digital presence and assists clients and partners with event production and communication strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop communication materials for internal and external audiences.
• Manage and update social and digital media channels, acting as community manager.
• Advise clients and partners on internal event management and production.
• Conduct research, preliminary analysis, and draft outlines of tools and processes.
• Develop recommendations, solutions, and action plans aligned with organizational objectives.
• Analyze data, assist with studies, and prepare reports.
• Negotiate standardized contracts with preferred external providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least one year of relevant communications or marketing experience (other combinations may be considered).
• Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
• Action‑oriented mindset with business insight and customer focus.
• Interpersonal savvy and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
