Civil Engineering Co‑op Internship

About the role

ACCIONA is offering a Civil Engineering Co‑op position for students enrolled in a civil engineering program. The role provides hands‑on experience on large infrastructure projects in Canada and the United States, allowing you to work alongside experienced engineers and project leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily site activities and track construction progress.
• Assist with technical drawings, calculations and constructability reviews.
• Gain exposure to contracts, cost control, vendor management and procurement processes.
• Monitor compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
• Help implement health and safety programs and conduct site inspections.
• Participate in environmental monitoring and sustainability initiatives.
• Contribute to project scheduling, documentation and overall coordination.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program.
• Curious, motivated and eager to learn from real‑world project exposure.
• Strong teamwork, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work in dynamic construction environments.
