City Leader – Connecting Streams Ministry

About the role

Power to Change (P2C) is looking for a City Leader to oversee the ministry of Connecting Streams in a particular city and surrounding area, working to expand its collective impact there. The role reports to the National Director and is split between two main areas: City Team Leader (50%) and City Impact Development (50%). It is open to candidates based anywhere.

Key responsibilities

• Build a cohesive identity among staff and volunteers in the city, including team-building, communication, conflict resolution and promotion of CS brand values.
• Lead the city staff team in strategic planning and collaborative activities.
• Oversee city operations, including volunteer processing, communications, prayer initiation and staff support.
• Attend all local meetings, CS training and celebration events.
• Develop and implement new strategies to expand CS's impact across the city, in coordination with the National Director, National Stream Leads and the Executive Team.
• Build relationships with church and organization leaders, articulate the ministry vision to them, and represent CS at city-wide events.
• Develop and maintain financial partners supporting the city ministry.
• Speak, teach and run workshops on mobilizing people for evangelism and discipleship as opportunities arise.

Required profile

• 5+ years of ministry or related experience.
• Experience leading teams and carrying out strategic plans.
• A deep, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a genuine desire to see lives transformed.

Required skills

• Leadership, management and strong networking skills, especially with churches and Christian organizations.
• Ability to manage systems and oversee operations; self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and administrative skills.
• Ability to use Google Suite or equivalent.
