Chemist – Technical Consultant & Team Lead

About the role

RESA Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced Chemist to act as a technical consultant and supervise a team of chemists in an urban industrial setting. The role involves leading analytical projects, ensuring quality control, and contributing to interdisciplinary research and development.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, synthesize, purify, modify and characterize chemical or biochemical compounds.
• Develop and conduct quality‑control programs for raw materials, intermediates and final products.
• Supervise 5‑10 chemists, providing technical guidance and performance oversight.
• Participate in interdisciplinary R&D projects and environmental assessment and monitoring.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial and inorganic chemistry.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication, client focus and sound judgement.
