Business Development Representative

About the role

Axya is looking for a Business Development Representative to drive growth of its SaaS procurement platform for manufacturers. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects, helping them understand how Axya can modernize their source‑to‑pay processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls and emails to introduce the platform and uncover customer needs.
• Qualify leads by identifying decision‑makers, assessing fit, and ensuring a smooth handoff to Account Executives.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine targeting strategies and campaign messaging.
• Maintain accurate records in HubSpot CRM and track all sales activities.
• Meet and exceed weekly/monthly targets for qualified meetings.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain points.
• Provide feedback from prospect interactions to improve sales tactics, product features, and marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SaaS sales, preferably within manufacturing, procurement, or ERP solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly.
• Strong phone presence and confidence in outbound prospecting.
• Comfortable working in a high‑energy, goal‑driven environment.
• Highly motivated, coachable, and thrives in a team‑first culture.
