Business Development Manager

About the role

Peninsula Canada is seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to expand its HR and Health & Safety outsourcing portfolio. This field‑based position focuses on acquiring new small‑ and medium‑sized business clients (5–50 employees) across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and referrals.
• Attend appointments booked by a dedicated telemarketing partner and schedule self‑generated meetings.
• Build and nurture relationships with referral partners and introducers.
• Deliver consultative, value‑based sales presentations to owners, directors, and HR decision‑makers.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently exceed quarterly targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience with a proven record of new‑business success.
• Confidence selling to business owners, directors, and HR leaders.
• Consultative, value‑driven sales style with high energy and resilience.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment.

• Base salary $60,000‑$75,000 CAD plus uncapped commission (top earners $400k+).
