About the role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead enterprise sales within the payments and financial infrastructure space. This remote‑first position will focus on generating new business and expanding strategic accounts across Canada.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing of complex enterprise deals.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and strategic partnerships.
- Develop consultative, tailored sales strategies that address client challenges and showcase the value of a unified payments platform.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless delivery and feedback.
- Contribute to sales playbook refinement, Ideal Customer Profile definition, and accurate forecasting.
Required profile
- Proven experience in enterprise or strategic B2B sales, preferably in fintech, payments, SaaS, or complex technology environments.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a high‑performance setting.
- Ability to manage long, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles and conduct technical evaluations.
- Highly proactive, self‑driven, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, ambiguous, remote environment.
