Business Consultant (Project Management Office)

About the role

The IT Project Management Office (PMO) at HOOPP is seeking a Business Consultant to support the onboarding of new investment strategies, conduct business analysis, and manage project intake assessments. You will work closely with both business and IT stakeholders to ensure that initiatives are well‑defined, properly assessed, and ready for execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the intake and assessment of new investment projects, ensuring they are clearly defined and decision‑ready.
• Perform business analysis for investment‑focused initiatives, translating objectives into detailed requirements.
• Partner with IT teams (architecture, governance, risk, compliance, vendor management, information security) and business units (investment management, finance, risk, plan operations) to align delivery with IT processes.
• Provide project management support, including planning, status reporting, and risk/issue management.
• Assist in governance activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience supporting capital markets or investment management initiatives across the front‑to‑back‑office lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on delivering clear, actionable requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
