Bilingual Training Specialist – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Bilingual Training Specialist – Manufacturing Operations designs and delivers high‑impact orientation and operational training programs for manufacturing staff. This role ensures employees meet safety, quality, and productivity standards while supporting continuous improvement of training materials.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate new‑hire orientation and on‑the‑floor training for new and existing employees.
• Teach quality standards, inspection methods, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Conduct micro‑learning sessions, refresher courses, and administer written and hands‑on assessments.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, provide feedback to leadership, and maintain compliant training records.
• Develop and update training materials using PowerPoint and other learning tools.
• Support consistent application of SOPs across shifts and departments.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and cross‑functional training projects.
• Assist with the Training Ambassador program and travel up to 30% as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience delivering classroom and hands‑on training.
• Ability to learn and correctly use measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to different learning styles.
• Bilingual capability (English/French) preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
• Experience using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Ability to keep learners engaged during classroom sessions.
