About the role
Black & McDonald is seeking motivated HVAC/Sheet Metal professionals to join its Service/Small Projects Division. The position offers a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, supporting both apprenticeship and journeyperson pathways.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, layout, repair and install sheet‑metal products and parts.
- Use technical and mathematical skills to operate tools and machines.
- Take precise measurements according to project plans.
- Work under the supervision of skilled journeypersons in commercial construction.
- Support apprentices and colleagues as a journeyperson.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required profile
- Technically inclined with strong problem‑solving ability.
- Ability to complete projects with accuracy and precision.
- Able to use machinery and tools safely.
- Able to follow directions and read plans and schematics.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
