AI Solution Engineer – Technology Support

About the role

The AI Solution Engineer will drive AI‑powered automation across PointClickCare’s corporate platform, building intelligent workflows that streamline operations and improve delivery. Working with leading enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Anthropic Claude and OpenAI, the role connects IT and operations with cutting‑edge AI innovation. The position collaborates closely with senior leadership, solution architects and product teams to bring LLM‑driven agents into production.

Key responsibilities

• Build and support AI agents and intelligent workflows using Microsoft Azure tools such as Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, and Copilot Studio.
• Design and implement AI‑powered orchestration and automation for use cases like configuration streamlining, onboarding automation, and data migration.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (integration, implementation, product, support) to deliver high‑quality, scalable AI‑driven solutions.
• Develop APIs, scripts, and tools to connect LLM‑based agents using open integration standards such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP) with existing enterprise systems.
• Support testing, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI workflows in production, including output‑quality evaluation, guardrails, and responsible‑AI safeguards.
• Stay current with AI platform roadmaps of major providers (Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) and emerging industry trends.
• Contribute to the evolution of the internal AI delivery model and promote AI best practices across teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in software or cloud engineering, preferably in SaaS or enterprise environments.
• Experience building AI‑powered workflows using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio and/or Now Assist.
• Exposure to AI agent orchestration or multi‑agent systems and familiarity with retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) or vector database integration.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and eagerness to learn in a fast‑moving environment.
